In a 30-minute presentation, the most important topics related to taxes, social security, budgeting, and investments will be explained in a practical way. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and discuss individual concerns. Many sex workers are self-employed and face the challenge of properly managing their income and fulfilling tax obligations. In this event, you will learn which taxes are relevant to you, which business expenses you can deduct, and what to consider when choosing statutory or private health and pension insurance. You will also learn practical methods for financial organization, such as the account model and effective budgeting tips, to ensure long-term financial security. Finally, you will receive an overview of investment opportunities and learn how to invest your money wisely. The speaker for the event is Christian Mertzen. He is the founder and financial expert of the financial consultancy nekk & partner and has many years of experience in financial advice and advising the self-employed. The event is aimed at sex workers, will take place online via Zoom, and offers a safe space for all questions about finances.
